Coppa Law Group - About Us Banner

Attorney Vittorio Coppa was born in Naples, Italy. His family immigrated to the United States in 1969, settling in Providence, Rhode Island in pursuit of the American Dream. Vittorio grew up in a blue-collar neighborhood, learning hard work and determination by his parents' example. After graduating high school, Vittorio began working for a NYC based corporation that was expanding across the East coast and applied those same principles he learned as a child. By the early 1990’s, he had risen from entry level to the position of National Sales Manager. Vittorio oversaw the development, opening, and management for hundreds of new locations throughout the country. After years of continued success, Vittorio decided to return to school and pursue his original dream of becoming an attorney in order to serve the general community.

Vittorio attended the prestigious Roger Williams University, and graduated Cum Laude with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy. While at RWU, Vittorio earned an internship for the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Air and Space Commercialization (OASC) in Washington, DC. While in this position, Vittorio worked with the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, and represented OASC at the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Federal and State Department levels in Washington.

After graduation, Vittorio attended law school locally at well known Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts (WNEC). While at WNEC, he was a member of the Student Bar Association and President of the Computer Law Society. Law and Technology always seemed to be closely connected in his study and work. Vittorio realized even soon after graduation that combining these would evolve into an effective and practical entity. Vittorio gained legal experience in various fields before creating his visionary law firm. Vittorio was employed with Ferucci Russo PC, a premiere, boutique corporate law firm in Providence, Rhode Island. Vittorio specialized in receiverships and insolvency law, along with business formations. He also assisted counsel at Clayton Law Offices in central Massachusetts, developing new client relations, drafting litigation documents, and preparing transactional documents in bankruptcy, corporate and real estate law matters.

Vittorio, some years later, transitioned into a role with Thompson Reuters, one of the world’s leading intellectual content providers, as a legal consultant. Through this position he was able to develop advanced legal research skills and become not only an expert in legal research, but also was certified by Westlaw as an official representative to its clients. Many new exciting technologies were learned in this position and will benefit him in future legal business.

Throughout his career, Vittorio has always thought it important to give back to his community and has developed and maintained relationships, both personal and professional, with non-profit organizations such as Word of Grace Church in Westfield, Massachusetts and the Springfield Rescue Mission, giving time and finances to those and other non-profit organizations around him. Vittorio also volunteers with Project Homeless in Springfield, MA and is given the opportunity to pray with and help those who are in a time of need or crisis in their lives. In connection with his volunteer work, Vittorio recently attended the National Presidential Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC, hearing from our President, Senate, and Cabinet members on the subject of Faith.

Finally, Vittorio Coppa is now able to bring his many years of varied experience and expertise in technology and law to you via Coppa Law Group.
